Additional details:
I did an observational drawing of my childhood toy robot to start this project. It represents my fascination with the effect technology has on art and the human experience. I used multiple printmaking techniques. The robot is a linoleum relief print. I printed it twice offsetting it to create a layered look. This was hand burnished and additional details were hand painted. The background is a layered stencil made from two different pieces.
