Additional details:
This is a class assignment where I created a paper puppet animation of a creature. I first designed the character with legs that blend into surrounding trees, inspired by Brian Froud’s concept art for The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. After sketching a few versions and refining the design, I made a watercolor painting to finalize the colors. I then created the puppets and additional cut-out parts needed for the animation, which was shot on the Oxberry downshooter multiplane to achieve a 3D effect.
