This is a class assignment where I created an animation entirely in After Effects. I was upset about the number of children being raised by screens rather than present guardians and wanted to translate that anger into the concept of an “evil child.” After storyboarding on paper, I gathered images and painted over them in Photoshop before animating in After Effects. I also added custom dithering patterns to restrict the color palette and unify the piece.
