Additional details:
This is my biggest painting. The large eye and teeth make the creature feel scary and powerful, while the tiny figures show fragility. I used simple shapes and soft colors to guide the eye. Painting on a large canvas let me try bold brushstrokes. I referenced brutalist architecture, made a 3D model, and took photos of myself in a robe to model the characters.
