This was an official selection in the All-American High School Film Festival for Animation in 2022. I made this stop-motion short film about quarantine and the way the entire situation affected mental health. I created everything from scratch. The armatures were constructed out of wire and tape. I then sculpted on top of this with clay. The room was a cardboard box that I furnished with wallpaper, photos, a window, etc. from various materials. A storyboard was made to avoid animating anything I wouldn’t use because this is a lengthy process. After I decided what shots I wanted, I photographed with a stop motion technique. The editing was done in After Effects. I also used After Effects to construct three digital 3D rendered shots. Finally, I recorded all the sound design, including the piano playing, on Lluma Fusion.
